Use fake photos or misrepresent yourself
Send unsolicited explicit content
Harass, bully, or intimidate others
Spam or send repetitive messages
Share personal information of others
Promote hate speech or discrimination
Use the platform for commercial purposes without permission
Create multiple accounts to circumvent blocks or bans
Prohibited Content and Behavior
Harassment and Bullying
We do not tolerate harassment, bullying, or intimidation in any form. This includes persistent unwanted contact, threats, or attempts to embarrass or harm others.
Hate Speech and Discrimination
Content that promotes hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other protected characteristics is strictly prohibited.
Spam and Scams
Sexually explicit content, nudity, or adult content is not permitted. This includes text, images, videos, or any other media that is sexual in nature
Explicit Content
Don't spam other users with repetitive messages, promotional content, or fraudulent schemes. Each message should add value to the conversation.
Violence and Harmful Content
Content that promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, or illegal activities is not allowed. This includes threats of violence or content that could cause harm to individuals or groups
Impersonation and False Information
Don't pretend to be someone you're not or spread false information. This includes using fake photos, lying about your identity, or impersonating public figures or other users.
Privacy and Safety
Personal Information
Never share your personal information (such as home address, phone number, financial details) publicly. Be cautious about sharing such information privately as well.
Meeting in Person
If you decide to meet someone from Hangout in person:
Meet in a public place
Tell a friend or family member about your plans
Trust your instincts and leave if you feel uncomfortable
Don't feel pressured to meet anyone you don't want to
Blocking and Reporting
You can block any user who makes you uncomfortable. You can also report users who violate these guidelines. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
Age Requirements
Hangout is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from or allow registration by users under 18. If we discover that a user under 18 has created an account, we will immediately terminate it.
Consequences for Violations
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
Content removal
Warning messages
Temporary suspension
Permanent account termination
Reporting to law enforcement (for illegal activities)
We reserve the right to take appropriate action based on the severity and frequency of violations.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately. You can report users or content directly through the app or website, or contact our support team.
